BREAKING NEWS: Two OB businesses targeted by thieves

June 13, 2008;

OLIVE BRANCH – Olive Branch police are investigating the second theft in a year at Southaven RV Center, as well as another at Asplundh’s Railroad Division.

Thieves recently targeted the RV center, located Craft Goodman Frontage Road, stealing 21 flat-screen televisions from 19 units for sale.

RVs broken into televisions stolen from Crossville business

Investigators with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Department are reviewing a case in which 14 recreational vehicles were broken into and had televisions stolen out of them this past weekend.

Copper Thieves Strike Again

LITTLE BRITAIN TOWNSHIP — Copper thieves have struck the Southern End again. State Police responded to 110 Kirks Mill Road for a report of a theft of copper wiring from air conditioning units at RV Mushrooms.

City Issues Theft Alert For RV Owners

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are warning RV owners about a new crime wave.

Thieves have been hitting up RV storage sites in Rio Rancho over the past few weeks.Police told Action 7 News that thieves are breaking the windows and stealing expensive electronics from inside.

RVs at Camping World broken into; mostly electronics missing

For the second time in less than a week, a recreational vehicle dealership was victimized by a number of thefts.

Statesville Police Department Chief Steve Hampton said that on Saturday morning employees came to work at Camping World, 1220 Moreland Drive, and discovered 30 of the dealership’s RVs and two that belonged to customers had been broken into overnight.

$110,000 recreational vehicle stolen

April 8, 2008;

Mount Airy police are investigating the theft of a recreational vehicle valued at $110,000.

The 2002 Coach Sportscoach RV, owned by Dennis Wayne Sechrist, is believed to have been stolen sometime between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, when authorities learned of the theft.
