Raider steals 100-year-old woodwork tools

Century-old woodwork tools were stolen in a raid in Lister Lane, Halifax.

About 40 chisels and gougers were stolen, along with an air rifle, a metal detector, a box camera, camping equipment and CDs.

Burglars in £4,000 raid on joiner’s workshop

April 18, 2008;
POLICE in Northallerton are appealing for information following a burglary at a joiner’s workshop in the town.

Burglars broke into ATK Joinery in the High Street overnight on Monday, April 7, and stole a power tools – including Makita and Dewalt makes of drills, jigsaws, mitre saws, routers and laser levels – worth around £4,000.

Tools theft;

Several tools were reported stolen at 8:15 a.m. Friday in a burglary at Howell Terrace Apartments, according to Chapel Hill police reports.

Two power tools, valued at $100 each, a table saw, valued at $200, a Polvan chain saw, valued at $175, and a Honda pressure washer, valued at $250, were among items stolen, reports state.

Plumbing tools stolen

An estimated $10,000 in plumbing tools were stolen when intruders entered an unlocked GMC van parked in the 2000 block of Medinah Road on Saturday, reports stated. The victim said the items taken also included a full-size spare tire from the underside of the vehicle, according to reports.
